MORAGA, Calif. – The UT Arlington women's basketball team (0-4) will compete against Illinois State (3-1) and North Carolina A&T (3-0) on Friday and Saturday as part of the Saint Mary's Thanksgiving Classic at the UCU Pavilion.

DOUBLE THE TROUBLE
Avery Brittingham is 27th in the country and tied for first in the conference with two double doubles on the season. Brittingham garnered her first double double against Lamar, putting up 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Her second double double came last time out against UTSA where she scored 13 and pulled down 10 rebounds. Both double doubles came in the friendly confines of the College Park Center.
GRABBING BOARDS
Brittingham has been a menace when it comes to rebounds especially on the defensive end, averaging 7.2 defensive rebounds per contest which has her 30th best in the country and sits alone atop in the WAC. Her average of eight rebounds per game has her tied for the WAC lead and 138th in the NCAA.
SHARING THE LOVE
Averaging 14 assists per game as a team, the Lady Mavs are 4th best in the conference and are four behind WAC leader Stephen F. Austin with 18. UTA's 14 per game has them ranked 143rd in the country.
FROM THE CHARITY STRIPE
As a team, the Lady Mavs average 18 free throw attempts per contest, 154th best in the country and 5th best in the conference. Their 12.25 made free throws per game is 168th in the NCAA and 5th in the WAC.
MAKING IT RAIN
Shooting 29.2-percent from beyond the arc, the Lady Mavs have the 3rd best three point shooting percentage in the conference and are 197th in the country.
IT'S A BLOCK PARTY
Averaging 1.25 blocks per contest, Adela Valkova leads the way for the Lady Mavs and has the 4th best mark in the WAC and is 164th in the NCAA.
NEXT UP
Following the weekend, UT Arlington will return to Texas to begin WAC play on Wednesday, November 29, as they travel to Abilene to battle Abilene Christian before returning to the College Park Center on Saturday, December 2, to host Grand Canyon.
