ARLINGTON, Texas – With the 2023-24 season in the early stages, the UT Arlington women's basketball team has added a big piece for its 2024-25 roster as Kendal Robinson signed her National Letter of Intent to compete for
Shereka Wright's program as a freshman next year.
A 5'10 combo guard from Fort Worth, Robinson is the #27 overall recruit in the state of Texas. A three-time letterwinner for the North Crowley Panthers, Robinson is a major threat on both ends of the court as she averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals per contest which garnered her UIL Region 1 6A All-Regional Team honors her junior year.
"Kendal brings elite size and playmaking to our backcourt. Her tenacious defense will bring a boost to our defensive presence," said Wright, who just began her fourth season at the helm for the Lady Mavs. "Her athleticism and versatility gives her the ability to play in an up-tempo game where she can be an asset in our system no matter what position."
The team captain for North Crowley in her senior campaign, she is expected to make a big splash this season as she helped lead the Panthers to a 24-9 record and finished first in District 12-1 6A and making a deep playoff run her junior season.
