ARLINGTON, Texas – Morane Dossou has signed a grant-in-aid agreement to play for UT Arlington in 2026-27, head women's basketball coach
Shereka Wright announced today.
"Mo is an aggressive forward with a non-stop motor who runs the floor in transition and attacks the glass on every possession," Wright said. "Her energy and competitiveness will elevate our pace and our rebounding, and I'm confident she'll be a cornerstone for our program from day one."
Dossou is a 5-foot-11 senior forward from Charleville-Mézières, France, who played last season at New Mexico State. She saw action in 29 games with the Aggies, making 21 starts, and averaged 5.0 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds per contest. She was named the Conference USA Player of the Week on Dec. 22 after finishing with 15 points, 17 rebounds, six assists and two blocks against Saint Mary's (Calif.).
As a sophomore at Dodge City (Kan.) Community College, she appeared in 39 games, earning 12 starting assignments. Dossou averaged 4.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game and had one double-double.
As a freshman, Dossou attended Independence (Kan.) Community College. For the Pirates, she totaled 4.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocked shots per game. She played in 31 games, making 20 starts.
