ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's basketball team invites the campus community along with the greater Arlington community for an event-filled evening with Hoops and Treats presented by the Maverick Club on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the College Park Center.
The Lady Mavs take on the University of North Texas – Dallas in an exhibition game starting at 6:30 p.m. and entry is free. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with candy being distributed by UTA student-athletes and student organizations from the moment gates open until tip off.
Kids and adults alike are encouraged to wear their costumes with the ability to showcase them at halftime, where the men's basketball team will also be introduced.
There will be a bounce house, located near gate 1, as well as a balloon artist on tap for the event.
To conclude the night, there will be a chance to win prizes with a post-game on court activity with randomly chosen fans.
