SEATTLE – The UT Arlington volleyball team (19-2, 9-0 WAC) continued to roll through conference play with its sixth-consecutive sweep (25-23, 25-23, 25-13) over the Seattle U Redhawks (5-14, 3-6 WAC) this Thursday to remain unbeaten in Western Athletic Conference play.
The Mavs have now rattled off ten-straight wins in their fourteenth sweep of the season. Additionally, The Mavs have won their last 19 sets and have won 30 of their last 34 sets.
In the win, the Mavs maintained a balance attack throughout the match with 38 kills spread between six different players. Cansu Günaydin and
Brianna Ford led the squad with nine kills apiece while
Sjakkie Donkers poured in seven. Middle Blocker's
Paige Reagor (6) and
Sophie Ocampo (2) accounted for eight kills and
Mollie Blank picked up five kills for just the third time this season.
With nine kills in the match,
Brianna Ford (1,608) becomes just the third player in program history with at least 1,600 kills.
In the sweep, Blank provided 25 out of the 34 assists and picked up six digs,
Samantha Glenn had a team-high 11 digs.

J.T. Wenger. "After a slow start, we really regrouped to beat a talented Seattle U team. Our ball control steadied throughout the match and it allowed our setter and attackers to terminate in the seam."
