The Mavs are coming off a season in which they won 20 games under first-year head coach
KT Turner which culminated in a berth in the WAC Championship Game. Heading into the championship appearance, the Mavs held an eight-game winning streak, which was tied for the 4th longest in program history. UTA returns a pair of key contributors in guards
Brandyn Talbot and
Kade Douglas, and added 11 talented transfers to complete its roster. UTA opens its season on Monday, Nov. 4, at the College Park Center against UNT Dallas.
