SAN ANTONIO – The UT Arlington baseball team played in their only doubleheader of the season against the Roadrunners of UTSA and couldn't quite get anything rolling offensively. In the first game of the day, UTA struggled to get any runs on the board.
Aaron Calhoun had his first start of the season, tallying up three strikeouts and two walks in 4 innings pitched. However, he allowed five earned runs and six hits in , which ultimately caused the Oklahoma transfer to be tabbed with the loss.
Ryan Ellis and
Cade Sumbler drove in the only runs on the game.
Joe Steeber and
Harrison Hammond also made their season debuts in the loss.
GAME 2 FLOW
