Jade Moreno that guided UTA to a 1-0 victory Sunday from Allan Saxe Field.
The Mavericks move on to an overall record of 3-6 and 1-1 in Maverick Invitational action.

Kaitlyn Sailor who got things going in the bottom of the fifth inning as she sent a hot shot through the left side for a single before
Vanessa Soza came in to pinch run.
The Mavericks' one and only run came from the bat of
Nikki Donahue who knocked in Soza from second base.
Head coach
Kara Dill gave Moreno the start in the circle for the Mavericks as she went on to throw her first complete game of her young career, leading to her first collegiate win.
Moreno reached a new career-high of 27 batters faced while limiting DePaul's offense to five hits.
ON DECK
The Mavs will wrap up their first of two home preseason tournaments with a 3 p.m. game against Boise State on Monday, Feb. 19.
UTA will then head to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete in the Razorback Invitational beginning Friday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 25 where the Mavs will face Illinois State, Wichita State and the host, No. 13 Arkansas.
