Once again, UTA's offense was led by infield transfer

It was a home run marathon for the Maverick lineup as

The Mavs totaled nine hits on the day, including singles from
Nicole Hill (1-4) and
Emma Lopez (1-3).

Freshman
Abi Gutierrez entered the tied ball game in the bottom of the sixth as an unfortunate passed ball allowed for Utah Tech to plate the go ahead run, handing Gutierrez her sixth loss of the season.
