SAN ANTONIO - The inaugural UT Arlington Athletics Roadshow made a stop in downtown San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday night with an event at the Lone Star Cafe. The night featured former UTA football and basketball student-athletes that shared stories about their time on campus during the 1970s and 1980s, and also discussed ways they can help the athletic department from afar.
Â
Director of Athletics Jon Fagg delivered the keynote address and touched on ways that alumni and supporters can reconnect with the university and athletic department.
Â
Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development Ira Childress also spoke to the crowd about the record-breaking year in fundraising the department enjoyed in 2023-24.
Following another great night on the road, the show concludes Thursday evening with stop number four in Waco at Hecho en Waco from 6:30-8 p.m. CT.
