ARLINGTON, TX -- The UT Arlington volleyball team welcomes Utah Tech to home turf on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. Saturday's match triples as Alumni Day, Family Weekend and Camper Reunion Day, and will cap off the afternoon with post-match autographs on the court.
MATCH NOTES
- Following Saturday's loss to California Baptist, the Mavericks now hold a 9-8 overall mark and drop to 1-3 in conference play.
- The Mavs have collected four WAC weekly awards this season in Samantha Glenn earning WAC Libero of the Week (Sep 16, Sep 30) and Mira Ledermueller being named WAC Setter of the Week (Sep 2, Sep 30).
- Currently, the Mavericks lead the Western Athletic Conference in aces per set (2.25), team digs (1,013), and team service aces (164).
- UT Arlington also ranks in the conference's top three in six other categories – digs per set (No. 3, 13.88), match W-L percentage (No. 2, .529), opponent hitting percentage (No. 2, .171), team assists (No. 2, 775), team kills (No. 2, 837) and team total attacks (No. 2, 2,463).
- UTA remains at No. 1 in the NCAA for team services aces (164).
- In addition to this, the Mavs are ranked No. 4 in the country in aces per set (2.25).
- Glenn currently leads the WAC in two categories: digs per set (4.16) and total digs (304).
- Ledermueller ranks second in two WAC categories: assists per set (8.51) and total assists (604). She also ranks third in service aces (28).
- Alexis Bull leads the conference in service aces with 30 and sits at No. 34 in the country for service aces.
- Jalie Tritt ranks second in the conference for points (255.5) and total attacks (635). She also sits at fifth in service aces (26).
- Additionally, Alondra Hernandez ranks third in the WAC in aces per set (0.41) and second in service aces (26).
