BEAUMONT, Texas – The UT Arlington men's tennis team returns to fall action this Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5, at the Ron Wesbrooks Invitational hosted by Lamar from the Beaumont Municipal Tennis Center.
The tournament will run all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday with play beginning each day at 9 a.m. CT with doubles action getting things kicked off.
Along with host Lamar, the Mavericks will be joined by Abilene Christian and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.
The Mavs are coming off a solid showing at the Waco Fall Kickoff Classic, highlighted by
Yazid Lahjomri's 2-1 showing in singles action, defeating UTSA's Oskar Grzegorzewski and Rice's Kabeer Kapasi. The doubles pairing of Lahjomri and
Finbar McGarvey posted a 1-2 doubles record across the team's first fall tournament.
