ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's tennis head coach announced the signing of Seifeldeen Abdelkader to join the Maverick program for the 2026-27 academic year.

Abdelkader, a native of Egypt, joins UTA after a successful junior and club career competing for Al Ahly Club, one of the premier athletic organizations in the country. He will enter UTA as a freshman and plans to major in business management.

Abdelkader achieved an International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior ranking of No. 149 and earned multiple ITF tournament championships in both singles and doubles competition. His success on the international stage established him as one of Egypt's top junior tennis players.

A graduate of Akhnaton School, Abdelkader consistently excelled in tournament play and developed a reputation for his versatility and success across both singles and doubles formats.

Abdelkader becomes the latest addition to the Maverick men's tennis roster as UTA continues to build for future success in conference and national competition.
