ARLINGTON, TX – The UT Arlington volleyball team is set to travel to St. George, Utah, to take on Utah Tech on Saturday, Nov. 15. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT at the Burns Arena.
MATCH NOTES
- Following Thursday's loss to Southern Utah, the Mavericks now hold an 11-12 overall mark and a 3-8 record in conference play.
- Earlier this season, in October, UTA claimed a 3-1 victory over Utah Tech at home in Arlington at College Park Center. The Mavs look to grab another win over the Trailblazers on Saturday.
- The Mavs have collected eight WAC weekly awards this season in Samantha Glenn earning WAC Libero of the Week (Sep 16, Sep 30, Oct 21, Nov 11) and Mira Ledermueller being named WAC Setter of the Week (Sep 2, Sep 30, Oct 21, Oct 28).
- Currently, the Mavericks lead the Western Athletic Conference in aces per set (No. 1, 2.05) and team service aces (No. 1, 201).
- UT Arlington ranks in the top three in six other WAC categories -- digs per set (No. 3, 14.01), team assists (No. 2, 1,078), team attacks per set (No. 3, 34.35), team digs (No. 2, 1,373), team kills (No. 2, 1,164) and team total attacks (No. 2, 3,366).
- In the NCAA, UTA ranks eighth in team services aces with 193 and 10th in aces per set (2.05).
- WAC Libero of the Week, Glenn currently leads the WAC in digs per set (4.22) and ranks second in total digs (414).
- Ledermueller leads the WAC in assists per set (9.05) and total assists (869).
- Alondra Hernandez and Ledermueller are tied in leading the conference in service aces with 38.
- Alexis Bull leads the conference in aces per set (.42).
