ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington Lady Mavs have signed the highly-touted trio of sisters, Mila, Amiyah and Kira Reynolds to suit up in the orange and blue and play for head coach
Shereka Wright.
The sisters hail from South Bend, Indiana and all attended South Bend Washington High School where they played for their father, Steve.
"We are delighted to welcome the Reynolds sisters to our team in Arlington," said coach Wright. "Their versatility and athleticism will undoubtedly enhance our team's dynamic as we continue to develop a solid foundation, returning six from our WAC Championship appearance."
Mila Reynolds
A 6-3 post, Mila spent the past two seasons at Purdue with Amiyah.
Mila missed this past season due to injury but appeared in 27 games off the bench during her sophomore season in 2023-24, where she averaged 2.4 points in 7.8 minutes per game. She tallied 7.0 points per game in the Boilermakers WNIT run. She hit a program WNIT record four three-pointers in their game against Butler back on March 25, 2023.
Before her tenure with the Boilermakers, Mila spent her freshman season at Maryland in 2022-23 where she saw action in 22 games. Maryland would reach the NCAA Tournament as a No. 2 seed and would reach the Elite Eight.
During her prep career, Mila lettered four years at Washington High School, playing alongside Amiyah for three of those seasons.
In those four years, she helped guide the Panthers to a 78-30 record, with a 68-17 mark when playing with her sister Amiyah. Helped guide the Panthers to the 2022 IHSAA 3A State Championship, helping set the championship game record for 3A as the Panthers scored 93 points. Mila tallied 21 points, seven rebounds, three three-pointers, four assists, two blocks and a plus-minus of 52 in state championship win.
A four-star recruit out of high school, Mila was ranked the No. 60 player in the country and the No. 16 forward with a 94 rating by ESPN HoopGurlz, No. 32 player in the nation, No. 4 in the state by Prep Girls Hoops and an Elite 150 athlete, 4.5-star recruit by Prospects Nation. She finished third in voting for the 2022 Indiana Miss Basketball while being tabbed IBCA Academic All-State as a senior. Named an Indiana All-Star as a junior and senior while being placed on the IBCA Supreme 15 as a junior and senior. A four-time All-Northern Indiana Conference selection, including 2021 MVP honors. She totaled 2,099 career points, second in Panther history behind 2010 graduate Skylar Diggins-Smith, while also adding 990 rebounds and recorded 53 double-doubles. Her 48 points against Elkhart as a junior stands as the program single-game record. She finished her career with 19.8 point, 9.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.9 blocks per game and shot 51% from the field for her career, added 150 3-pointers over four years. Posted a career-best 21.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals per game as a senior.
Mila played AAU for Michigan Crossover and Sports City U while also playing softball for South Bend Washington.
Amiyah Reynolds
A 6-0 guard, Amiyah spent the past two seasons at Purdue with Mila.
Last season with the Boilermakers, she appeared in 23 games, making eight starts. She averaged 1.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.7 minutes per game.
In her freshman season in 2023-24, Amiyah missed the season due to an injury sustained during her final game of the high school regular season before being cleared to fully participate in mid-January where she ran scout team for the remainder of the year.
During her prep career, Amiyah lettered four seasons at Washington High School while playing alongside her sister Mila for three seasons.
In those four years, Amiyah helped guide the Panthers to a 95-18 overall record during those four seasons. Guided the Panthers to the 2022 IHSAA 3A State Championship, helping set the championship game record for 3A as the Panthers scored 93 points where she recorded eight points, four rebounds, three assists and two blocks in state championship win. Finished as the IHSAA 3A State Runner-Up in 2021 and reached the state semifinals 2023 after getting bumped up to 4A. Was a part of three Northern Indiana Athletic Conference championships, as well as three sectional and three regional titles.
A four-star recruit out of high school, Amiyah was ranked the No. 43 player in the nation with a 94 rating by ESPN HoopGurlz, the second highest signee in the Big Ten for the 2023 class, the No. 22 player in the nation, No. 7 guard, 4.5-star recruit by Prospects Nation, the No. 35 player in the nation, No. 2 player in the state by Prep Girls Hoops and the No. 35 player in the nation by Blue Star. She finished third as a finalist for the 2023 Indiana Miss Basketball. Reynolds joined 2010 South Bend Washington graduate Skylar Diggins-Smith as the only Panther to total over 1,000 points and 500 assists in a career. She was named an Indiana All-Star as a junior and senior. She ended her high school career ranked second in assists at Washington with 564 and eighth in all-time points with 1,122. For her high school career, she averaged 11.6 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.4 blocks per game. She tallied 15.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists and 3.3 steals per game, while shooting 51% from the field as a senior. Kira Reynolds
A 6-4 forward, Kira is four-star recruit with a 91 rating by ESPN HoopGurlz.
Kira is the first student-athlete, male or female, in the state of Indiana to record a quintuple-double when she finished with 14 points, 18 rebounds, 12 assists, 11 steals and 10 blocks against New Prairie back on January 4 of this year.
She finishes her career with the most blocks in the state of Indiana's history. Kira averaged 14.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 6.5 blocks and 6.0 assists and 3.5 steals while shooting 52-percent from the field during her 2024-25 senior campaign.
