ARLINGTON, Texas – Jeanne Rodriguez, a dominant 6-2 post player, will join the UT Arlington women's basketball program for the 2025-26 campaign.
The Landerneau, France native makes her way to Arlington after spending the past two seasons at Salt Lake Community College.

Last season during her sophomore campaign, Rodriguez appeared in 32 games, starting in 14, for the Bruins where she averaged 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 19.8 minutes per contest and was named First Team All-Scenic West. For the season, Rodriguez went 93-of-158 (.589) from the floor and 44-of-75 (.587) from the free throw line while collecting 189 total rebounds, dishing out 43 assists, collecting 20 steals and six blocks with 230 total points. Rodriguez put up a season-high 16 points against North Idaho College (1/25) and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds twice on the season, once at Frank Phillips College (11/8) and the other against Snow College (2/22). She finished the year with 12 double digit scoring efforts and two double-doubles.
During her first year for the Bruins in 2023-24, Rodriguez appeared in 28 games off the bench where she averaged 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per contest. For the season, Rodriguez went an impressive 93-of-134 (.694) from the floor, a perfect 1-of-1 (1.000) from deep and 27-of-45 (.600) from the free throw line while grabbing 121 total rebounds, dishing out 20 assists while collecting 19 steals and four blocks in 382 total minutes. She put up a collegiate best 20 points and a season-best 10 rebounds in her lone double-double of the season at Central Wyoming College (1/5).
Rodriguez is a 2023 graduate of H.S. of Elom in her native France.
Rodriguez joins an exciting group of newcomers on next year's team including: Natasha Barnes (Pearl River CC), Jadyn Atchison (Old Dominion), Mila Reynolds (Purdue), Amiyah Reynolds (Purdue) and Kira Reynolds (South Bend Washington High School).
