Robert Platt Invitational – Day One Results
HOUSTON, Texas – The UT Arlington track and field team opened competition at the Robert Platt Invitational with a strong showing on Friday at the Yeoman Fieldhouse.
Freshman
Arieanna Mcpeak placed third overall in the women's triple jump with a final mark of 12.05 meters, earning first place among freshmen in the field.
Junior
Eliza Lemberga qualified for the women's 60-meter hurdles semifinals after posting a time of 9.10 seconds in prelims. Lemberga will advance to compete in the semifinals on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. CT. After semifinals, eight athletes will advance to the finals.
NEXT UP
The Mavericks will continue competition on the final day of the Robert Platt Invitational, competing in the men's and women's 3000 meters, the remainder of the heptathlon, men's and women's high jump, men's and women's long jump, men's and women's shot put and the men's and women's 800.
