ARLINGTON, Texas – Western Athletic Conference officials on Wednesday announced the 2025 Academic All-WAC honorees for fall sports, with UT Arlington placing seven student-athletes on the list.
Cross Country led the way with four selections consisting of three women and one man. Volleyball was next in line with three selections
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year at UTA, possess at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests this season.
First-year student-athletes who meet the other criteria but have not yet been at UTA for a full year will be eligible for the WAC's end-of-year release.
