ABILENE, Texas – The UT Arlington Mavericks (14-10, 6-6 WAC) return to College Park Center following a three-game road swing through the WAC on Saturday at 2 p.m. (CT) when the Mavs host Southern Utah (8-17, 4-8 WAC). UTA will be looking to snap a four-game losing streak.
The game will be the 200th men's basketball game (non-exhibition) at CPC since its opening in 2012. UTA's College Park Center record is 138-61 (.693) since the building opened in 2012.
The Mavs own a 5-2 head-to-head advantage against the Trailblazers all-time. In the seven previous games, UTA has scored an average of 78.0 points per game and has topped 80 points in two straight meetings against the Trailblazers.
Cash Chavis is coming off a 20-point performance Thursday night at Abilene Christian, while
Marcell McCreary was one rebound shy of a double-double.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+. In addition, the game will air live on the radio on the Varsity Network App with the Voice of the Mavs, Josh Sours, on the call.
