ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington men's basketball head coach KT Turner has announced the signing of forward Niko Bundalo, a former McDonald's All-American and one of the highest-rated recruits in the country coming out of high school.
Bundalo joins the Mavericks after spending the 2025-26 season at Ole Miss. A 6-foot-10 forward from Canton, Ohio, Bundalo was ranked among the nation's top prospects in the Class of 2025 and was considered the highest-rated signee in Ole Miss program history according to 247Sports.
At Ole Miss in 2025-26, Bundalo appeared in 11 games as a true freshman, scoring his first career point at Tennessee on Feb. 3, and grabbing his first-career rebound against CSU Bakersfield on Nov. 14.
Prior to his collegiate career, Bundalo starred at Prolific Prep, one of the nation's premier prep basketball programs. He earned McDonald's All-America honors in 2025 and showcased his talent on the national stage, recording 12 points, six offensive rebounds, one block, and one steal in the prestigious all-star game.
A consensus top 40 recruit nationally, Bundalo was ranked as high as No. 30 overall by Rivals and rated as the No. 5 power forward in the country in his class.
