THE WOODLANDS, Texas – UT Arlington women's golf finished its second tournament of the spring on Tuesday, placing seventh in the 15-team field. The Mavericks finished with a 55-over-par 919 for the tournament.

Nitisha Manikandesh was the top finisher for the Mavericks after a 5-over 77 in the final round. The senior finished with a 12-over-par 228, placing her in a tie for 23rd in the 81-player field.

One stroke behind Manikandesh was Tarini Bhoga. Bhoga carded scores of 80-74-75– 229. The sophomore's 3-over 75 was the lowest final round for a UTA player. Bhoga's third round was highlighted by a bogey-free, 2-under-par front nine.

Kamri Gabel had an improved day, jumping 10 spots into 32nd after a 4-over 76. The senior finished with an 18-over 234.

Capping off the Mavericks lineup were Nirjara Gulhane and Chandler Browning. Gulhane had her best finish on the leaderboard this season, turning in scores of 78-75-83– 236 to finish tied for 40th. 

Browning finished one stroke back of Gulhane and in a tie for 44th after scoring 79-76-82– 237 for the tournament.
