SUGAR LAND, Texas – UT Arlington women's golf wrapped up play at the Riverbend Intercollegiate, holding down its day one spot of seventh place out of the 16-team field. The Mavericks shot an 18-over-par 306 in the final round, finishing 43-over for the tournament.

Two Mavericks — Nitisha Manikandesh and Tarini Bhoga — tied for 22nd place individually. The duo came into the day within a stroke of each other and a 5-over 77 from Manikandesh paired with a 6-over 78 from Bhoga tied the two with the lowest individual score from any UTA player at 224.

Kamri Gabel had the lowest score of the day for any Maverick. The senior carded a 3-over 75, highlighted by 14 pars and an even-par back nine. Gabel finished the tournament tied for 32nd place with an 11-over 227.

One UTA player improved their score every round and that was accomplished by Chandler Browning. The redshirt senior recorded a 4-over 76 on the final day of action and pulled into a tie for 48th place.

Nirjara Gulhane finished the tournament in a tie for 76th. The junior shot a 245 across all three rounds.
