The fourth-seeded UT Arlington Mavericks (18-13, 9-9 WAC) advanced to the 2026 Air Force Reserve WAC Basketball Tournament semifinals against the top-seeded Utah Valley Wolverines (24-7, 14-4 WAC). Game time is Friday at 6 p.m. in Orleans Arena (8 p.m. CT). UTA enters the contest on a three-game winning streak following an 69-63 victory Thursday night. The Mavs' win over Southern Utah snapped a three-game neutral site losing streak dating back to last season.
This is the fourth meeting of the season between the Mavs and Wolverines. Utah Valley won all three matchups in the regular season (86-74 and 80-61 in Utah and 66-54 in Arlington). UTA has won four its last six games after a five-game losing five straight games. A victory tonight would put the Mavericks into the WAC Final for the second time in three seeasons under Coach KT Turner.
