STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The UT Arlington track & field team capped the weekend at the Joe Gillespie Invitational with three first place finishes.
Arieanna Mcpeak claimed first in the women's long jump with a mark of 6.04 meters.
Ava Lin earned the top spot in the women's pole vault, clearing 3.55 meters, while
Grace Bettencourt secured first in the women's high jump with a new outdoor personal best of 1.64 meters.
Additionally,
Ethan Saenz placed second in the men's pole vault (4.52m), while
Jonathan Williams finished third in the high jump (1.96m).
Sophia Allen added a podium finish for the Mavericks, earning second-place in the women's pole vault, also clearing 3.55 meters.

The Mavericks continue its outdoor season on Saturday, April 25, at the OU O'Ring Alumni Open in Norman, Okla., hosted by the University of Oklahoma.
