Schatow Adds Brumitt to Coaching Staff

ARLINGTON, Texas – Keegan Brumitt, a former volleyball student athlete at Carthage College, has joined the UT Arlington volleyball program as an assistant coach under head coach Tania Schatow.

"I am excited to announce the addition of Keegan to my staff. I could tell from our first call he had a true passion to coach and drive to work hard," said Coach Schatow. "Being a collegiate athlete himself, he has a wealth of knowledge to share, and I look forward to working with him."

Brumitt was a four-year student-athlete (2020-24) and outside hitter at Carthage. He is a two-time NCAA Division III National Champion (2021, 2022) and earned the 2024 CCIW Respect Award.

He arrives in Arlington after serving as a graduate assistant coach at North Dakota State. In that role, he worked closely with athletes on both the mental and physical aspects of the game, with a focus on pin and middle attacking, blocking techniques and serve-receive. Brumitt also assisted with summer camp planning, team logistics and recruiting efforts.

A native of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Brumitt earned his bachelor's degree in finance, management, and marketing in May 2024. He is expected to complete his MBA from North Dakota State in Spring 2026.
