CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL.
Throughout the last decade of Maverick Athletics, UTA's Capital Improvements Campaign has played a critical role in our success by providing enhanced facilities for UTA student-athletes. Naming opportunities exist for those that wish to leave a legacy through leadership gifts that will have a substantial positive impact on the experience of our student-athletes for decades to come.
Each facility plays a crucial role in benefiting our individual sport programs and department as a whole. Facility projects present a unique opportunity for donors to directly impact the experience and resources available to our student-athletes in order to better equip them for success.
JOIN THE FIGHT
Naming opportunities are available within all of our facilities and are a great way to leave a family legacy or honor someone who impacted UTA or you personally. For more information about these opportunities or to coordinate a private tour of the facilities, please contact:

John & Pattye Mocek 3rd Base Patio
The John & Pattye Mocek 3rd Base Patio is the newest addition to Clay Gould Ballpark. The patio area is named in honor of John Mocek, who spent 45 years at UTA as a student-athlete, coach and UTA Athletics administrator, and his wife Pattye.
The Mocek Patio is located along the 3rd-base line past the visitor's dugout, and features a UTA-branded 35-foot-by-40-foot shaded cover that is 17 feet high, with ample space for events. The entrance to the patio is marked by a pair of stone entryway columns, which include a 'John & Pattye Mocek 3rd Base Patio' commemorative plaque.
Plans to continue improving the space are already in place, with Phase II expected to include an outdoor kitchen, complete with a BBQ pit, grill and more.

The office suite houses UTA's Academic Services team, a computer lab, two classrooms, and multiple rooms for studying. All student-athletes at UTA benefit from the Follett Academic Center and its resources. These include tutoring and supplemental instruction, which is supported through UTA Athletics' operating budget and annual fund gifts from generous Maverick Club members.
