Marlee Marquez joined the inaugural staff of UTA Flag Football as an Assistant Coach.
Marquez joins the Mavericks with coaching, operations and athlete representation experience across multiple levels of football. She served as a coordinator and coach with Flag Star Football, one of the largest youth flag football organizations in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, where she oversees league operations and coaches multiple age groups.
Marquez also spent two years as a sports agent representing collegiate and professional tackle and flag football athletes in marketing, NIL and contract initiatives. A former quarterback for the U.S. National Women's Flag Football Team, she helped the United States capture a gold medal at the 2023 IFAF Americas Continental Championship.
Marquez holds a master's degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University and graduated from Florida State University with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
