Samuel Tarver was a men's basketball graduate assistant for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. Following the completion of the 2022-23 season, he assisted the department as a graphic designer.

Tarver spent the 2020-21 season at Wake Forest University, where he served as a Communications Assistant as well as a Volunteer Assistant with the men’s basketball team.

A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Tarver graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During his time at Tennessee, he worked as a Student Manager for the men’s basketball team under Rick Barnes from 2017-19.Â
