She also picked up three points for the Mavs in the women's 100m hurdles after finishing sixth with a season's best time of 13.81.

At the 2025 WAC Outdoor Championships, Adeyemi Talabi added to her medal count on the final day. picking up a silver medal in the women's long jump. Talabi picked up another silver medal in the women's 100m and a bronze medal in the women's 200m. In the 100m, Talabi finished with a new personal record of 11.36 which also moved her in the 32nd fastest in the west region. In the 200m, she finished with a time of 23.56 to pick up six points. Talabi was the lone Mav to pick up three solo medals in the meet.

Henderson guided Zaire Moore (100m hurdles) to an appearance at the 2025 NCAA West Preliminary Round in College Station. In the first round of the women's 100m hurdles, Moore finished with a time of 13.73, her fifth fastest mark of the outdoor season.

Henderson comes to UTA after spending 8 years at TCU, where he helped guide the Frogs hurdlers and sprinters to multiple NCAA indoor and outdoor championship appearances and All-American honors, as well as setting some school records. Prior to his time at TCU, Henderson spent 4 years at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

“Kevin is an experienced hurdles and sprint coach and will be an immediate asset to our program,” Sauerhage said. “He knows our team and will be an excellent recruiter. He compliments our other coaches and gives us a good balance of event groups responsibilities.”
