Sha'hada Artberry

Sha'hada Artberry enter his second season as UTA Women's Basketball Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Artberry works directly with Lady Mavs basketball and direct workout plans while controlling the programming and design of the programs as he looks to maximize performance and minimize injury. Artberry will also serve as a nutrition specialist within the program.

Artberry is no stranger to the Sun Belt Conference. He spent the last two seasons with Arkansas State University, serving as the Associate Director of Basketball Athletic Performance the past two seasons before being promoted to Director of Basketball Athletic Performance this past summer and Men's Basketball Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Before his time with the Red Wolves, Artberry spent time at Southlake Carroll High School as the Sports Performance Coach and the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith as the Director of Athletic Performance.

Artberry graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning. He was a four-year member of the upstart Bison football team and did a student assistant internship with the football, track and field, and volleyball programs. He is certified (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
