WICHITA, Kan. - The University of Texas at Arlington men's tennis squad dropped Wichita State in decisive fashion Saturday, claiming a 5-2 victory at the Sheldon Coleman Tennis Complex.

Niels Buksik and Ian Vazquez clinched the doubles point for the Mavs after edging past Thiago Dos Santos and Gabriel Loredo 9-8 at the No. 3 position. Alberto Agis and Felipe Acosta paired for an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles.

Sandy Farquharson scored the most convincing singles win for the Mavs, taking a 6-1, 6-1 decision against the Shocker's Carlo Contente at the top flight.

Diego Mattar earned a 7-6, 6-4 win at the No. 3 position while Vazquez and Acosta rounded out the scoring with wins at the No. 5 and 6 positions, respectively.
