WACO, Texas - The Texas-Arlington men's tennis team fell to #7 Baylor, 6-1, Friday evening at the Baylor Tennis Center.
Texas-Arlington (8-6) dropped all three doubles matches to the Bears to lose the doubles point. In singles play, the Mavericks lost five of the six matches, with senior Sandy Farquharson being the only winner. The London, England native defeated #31 Matija Zgaga, 6-7, 7-6, 10-7, at the number one position.
The Mavericks will be back in action Saturday, when they travel to take on SLC Conference-foe Texas-San Antonio. First-serve is set for 2 p.m. at the Roadrunner Tennis Center.
