ARLINGTON - - Some of the top-ranked high school basketball players in Texas will converge on UT Arlington's campus Saturday morning for the start of the UT Arlington Elite Basketball Camp.

Conducted by the Mavericks coaching staff, the camp includes instruction on ball-handling skills, shooting and defensive technique. UT Arlington's coaching staff features third-year coach Scott Cross, who led the Mavericks men's basketball team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament bid last season.

Registration begins at 9 a.m.

The camp is scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at UT Arlington's Maverick Athletic Center. For more information, contact Reggie Brown at reggieb@uta.edu.
