ARLINGTON, Texas - The madness begins as all the basketball teams make their official debut to UTA fans. Maverick's Madness will start at 8 p.m. Friday at Texas Hall

Expect to see all three teams: men, women and the wheelchair team, the Movin Mavs. The festivities will include the men and women hotshot competition, slam dunk contest by the men and a student three point competition.

The slam-dunk contest will be judged by some of the men's coaches. In addition, the men will also put on a practice for fans to watch. The student three-point competition will be the final round of an on-going competition from earlier in the year.

There will be free give-a-ways throughout the night as well. Doors open at 7:45 p.m.
