MBB: 2025-26 WAC Schedule Released

ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington men's basketball program's 2025-26 Western Athletic Conference schedule was officially released by league officials on Wednesday afternoon.

The 18-game conference slate will feature the Mavericks playing the other six WAC schools three times each during the regular season, with the schedule breaking down to nine home and nine road contests.

In addition to this schedule, the 2026 WAC Basketball Tournament is set to take place Wednesday, March 11, through Saturday, March 14. Teams will compete to earn the league's automatic bid into the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
 
UTA opens league play with two straight home games, the first time the Mavericks will start a conference schedule at home since the 2021-22 season when the Mavs also had two consecutive home games to begin Sun Belt play.
 
The Mavs will face one team in league play that competed in postseason play last year, Utah Valley, who participated in the NIT.
 
Season tickets for the 2025-26 UT Arlington basketball season remain open as the Mavs continue preparation for the coming season. Fans can lock in their season ticket(s) at the state-of-the-art College Park Center as UTA ushers in its fourth-straight season in the highly competitive WAC:

  • For all renewing season-ticket holders, fans will receive the same seat(s) as the 2024-25 season. For those interested in upgrading seating locations, please contact Richard Haifley (richard.haifley@uta.edu).
  • Provides the opportunity for potential interactive experiences with both men's and women's basketball head coaches through the Maverick Club.

Men's basketball is coming off a season where the Mavs went 9-4 at home and are 21-7 on its home court in two years under head coach KT Turner.
 
UTA's 2025-26 non-conference schedule is still being finalized, and those matchups will be announced in the coming weeks.
