Feb. 19, 2010

ARLINGTON, Texas - UTA men's and women's track heads to Norman, Okla., for the Sooner Open II. Last weekend, the majority of UTA athletes were unable to attend the Iowa State Classic due to the weather in the DFW Metroplex.

Watch for junior All-American Cordero Gray and senior Jasmine Walls to improve upon their performances at the New Balance Invitational in New York.

Gray beat his time of 6.75 from last year by running a 6.73 in the 60 meter dash. He finished third overall in the event.

Walls also ran her fastest time of the year with a time of 7.68.
