Arlington, Texas - The UTA basketball team was able to meet one of the sports all-time greats recently when Earvin "Magic" Johnson was on campus for a speech.

The team got to meet Magic at a special reception before his presentation and got autographs and took pictures with the NBA legend.

"Magic has a great passion for the game," UTA head coach Scott Cross said. "You can see it in his eyes when he was talking. What a trill it was for everyone to meet him."
