Arlington, Texas - Arlington, Texas - The weekly regular season rankings for men's and women's track and field have been released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

UTA's men's team is ranked 50th in the nation in the latest rankings. The Mavericks are the top ranked Southland Conference team this week with Southeastern Louisiana being the next closest team at No. 58.

On the women's side, the Mavericks are the third-highest Southland Conference team behind Northwestern State (75th) and Texas State (96th). Nationally, the women's team is 124th.

The top five positions on both men's and women's sides of the national team rankings remained unchanged as Florida's men remained at No. 1 while Texas A&M kept a firm lead in the women's rankings.
