UTA head coach John Sauerhage had high hopes for his runners heading into the Mt. Sac Relays on Friday. Not only did the athletes meet his expectations, they exceeded them as all five runners ran their best times of the season.

Competing in the women's 1500m, Caroline Erlingson led the Mavs as she ran a personal best of 4:36.31. Amanda McMahon (4:42.07) ran her fastest time of the season while Christina Mose, who ran a personal best, finished close behind with a 4:45.02.

In the men's 1500m, Ozie Hood set a personal record by running 3:52.45. He was the only athlete from the men's team who competed.
