ARLINGTON, Tex. - The men's track & field team jumped to 37th in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the USTFCCCA unveiled this week.
UT Arlington has consistently been in the rankings this season but moved up in the new release.
That's partly because the men's 4x100m relay team jumped up to No. 13 in the USTFCCCA after recording a season-best time of 39.80 at Drake Relays. Pole vaulter Jeff Rodriguez also helped increase the team standing by debuting in the poll this week. He won Drake Relays last week with a season-best vault of 5.20 meters, which places him 27th in the nation.
