MG: Mavs sit 12th at Bayou City

HUMBLE, Texas - UT Arlington men's golf team is 12th after Saturday's second round of the 2013 Bayou City Collegiate Championships. Round 3 of the three-day, 54-hole event tees off Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at The Redstone Golf Club in Humble, Texas.

The Mavericks, tied for fourth after the first round, shot a plus-11 299 as a team in Round 2 to go to 13-over par. Texas (17-under) continues to lead the tournament.

Paul McConnell is tied for 14th after shooting a 2-over 74 on Saturday. The senior is 1-under going into the final round. Riley Fleming (T46), Brad Mason (T46), Cameron Hollek (T54) and Hunter Brown (T77) round out the UT Arlington contingent.
