COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The UT Arlington men's golf team opened competition at the 56th Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational from the Eisenhower Golf Course – Blue Course in Colorado Springs. Freshman
Ajay Morris led the way for the Mavericks, shooting one under par.
Morris led the way shooting 71 in the first round with three birdies, 13 pars and two bogeys. He is tied for 14th overall. Returner
Jerry Huang sits at an even par after shooting 72 on the day and sits tied for 26th overall. Huang finished the first round with two birdies, 14 pars and two bogeys.
As a team, The Mavs are tied with UC Davis for 18th overall after finishing the day with a total of 298..
