2013 BORDER OLYMPICS

LAREDO, Texas - UT Arlington men's golf placed 12th after at the Border Olympics, which ended Saturday at Laredo Country Club.

The Mavericks' five-man team of Riley Fleming, Hunter Brown, Paul McConnell, Cash Wilkerson and Cameron Hollek shot a three-round total of 40-over-par 904 at the par-72, 7319-yard course.

Hollek was UTA's highest finisher by tying for 23rd. Chris Lovell, playing as an individual, was 76th.

UT Arlington was 10th after the first two rounds on Friday.

Houston was the team champion, and Central Arkansas' James Newton was the individual medalist.
