ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington softball team will be holding open tryouts for the 2014 season on Jan. 28 at 4:30 p.m at Allan Saxe Field.

In order to be eligible to participate, students must bring an up-to-date physical to the tryout.

The UT Arlignton softball season begins on Feb. 7 when the Mavericks travel to St. George, Utah for the Red Desert Classic. The Mavericks open against Weber State at 12 p.m.
