ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington women's tennis hosts SMU Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center.
"We have played SMU a few times in the fall and we're pretty familiar with them," UT Arlington coach Diego Benitez said. "We have to play really aggressive doubles and be consistent in singles."
The Mavericks are 8-7 overall after a 2-2 week in California and 5-2 on their home court. The Mustangs are 6-10 overall and 1-3 on the road.
Last season the two teams met in Dallas, as SMU swept the Mavericks 4-0.
Following Wednesday's match, the women have a week off to prepare for North Texas April 2 at 2 p.m. in Denton.
