MT: Mavs win 4-2 against Troy

NASHVILLE, Tennessee - UT Arlington men's tennis defeated Sun Belt Conference opponent Troy 4-2 Sunday afternoon.

The Mavericks (7-11) concluded their play at the Middle Tennessee Shootout with a 2-1 record.

UTA freshmen stepped up for the team after the Mavericks dropped the doubles point. Daniel Armengol, Mario Muniesa, Daniel Echeverry and Francesco Migliano each won their singles matches to clinch the win for UTA.

The Mavericks wrap up the regular season Wednesday as they take on SMU at 2 p.m. in Dallas.
