ARLINGTON, Texas - The UTA men's basketball team welcomes the Sun Belt Conference's top scoring side to College Park Center Monday when it hosts Louisiana in an 8 p.m. tipoff.
The contest will be televised live by American Sports Network and streamed live via ESPN3. Veteran play-by-play broadcaster Ron Thulin and color analyst Chris Walker will provide the description of the game.

Monday's game is presented by Downtown Arlington Association.

UTA is 14-6 on the season and 4-2 in league play following Saturday's 71-55 home victory over ULM. Senior Jalen Jones equaled his season best with 23 points, while Jorge Bilbao continues his recent solid form with 13 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.
Against the Warhawks, Bilbao, a senior from Bilbao, Spain, registered his second consecutive double-double and his third in the team's last six games. He has seen a surge in production recently. In his last two games, Bilbao has averaged 15 points and 14 rebounds per game - well above his season averages of 8.1 and 6.2
Jones, who opened the season with a 23-point effort against Texas Southern and has been the team's second-leading scorer following the successful return of Kevin Hervey, added four steals and five rebounds in 29 minutes of action against ULM.
UTA will be looking to continue its home success on Monday night. The Mavericks have won 10-straight in College Park Center, dating back to last season. This year, head coach Scott Cross' team has come out victorious in each of its seven home games.
Louisiana, picked by league coaches during the preseason to finish seventh in the Sun Belt, enters Monday's game with a 13-6 overall record and a 3-3 mark against conference competition.
The Ragin' Cajuns lead the Sun Belt in scoring, pouring in 83 points per game and outscoring their opponents by a league-high 10.6 points. They are the second-best shooting team in the league at 47.2 percent and own the Sun Belt's top rebounding margin at plus-7.6.
Junior forward Bryce Washington is among the nation's leaders in rebounding, averaging a league-high 12.1 rebounds per game. He is also fourth in the league in field goal percentage, connecting on 56.6 percent of his attempts, and is fifth in blocked shots.
UTA returns to the road for Sun Belt contests at Appalachian State on Saturday, Jan. 28 and league newcomer Coastal Carolina on Monday, Jan. 30. The Mavericks return to College Park Center on Feb. 4 for a rivalry contest against Texas State.
The 2017 Sun Belt Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships are scheduled for a week of March Madness in the Big Easy.
