LAS COLINAS, Texas -- Josh Radcliff is tied for 13th and the UTA golf team is 16th through two rounds at the Bob Sitton Invitational at TPC Four Seasons this week.
The senior moved one spot from his tie for 12th following a plus-3 second round on Wednesday. Radcliff found himself at an even 71 on the first day. UTA shot 312 as a team to drop to 16th, previously tied for 3rd after a 288 start in Round 1.
"It was a tough day for the team," UTA coach Stuart Deane said. "We lacked some discipline and let the course get the best of us. We will regroup and rebound with a better day tomorrow."
No. 24 Arkansas State, who shared the tie with UTA after Day 1, made its move into first place with a 282 performance on Wednesday to reigster an overall total of 2-over 570. The Mavericks trail 15th-place Eastern Kentucky by one stroke.
Tanner Gore is tied for 43rd after an 81 followed his 2-under first round. Zach Galliford stretched into a tie for 59th with a plus-10 two-day total. Camilo Avila shot a 79 to be placed in a tie for 69th. Jake Greenspoon carries a plus-17 into the final day on Thursday.
