ARLINGTON, Texas – Senior
Madison Hill finished with a team-high 13 kills as the UTA volleyball team picked up a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-16) sweep of Little Rock on Sunday afternoon at College Park Center.
With the win, UTA clinches a berth to the Sun Belt Conference Championships and improves to 16-11 overall and 8-7 in conference play, while Little Rock falls to 6-20 on the season and 4-10 in the league.
The Mavs outhit the Trojans (.301-.031) and out-blocked the Trojans (18-13) in the three-set win. Little Rock's offense was limited all afternoon as UTA held the Trojans to -.024, .114 and .000 hitting percentages during the match.
Hill hit .550 and added 3 blocks to go with her team-high 13 kills.
Brooke Townsend chipped in with 10 kills and 4 blocks, while
Kylie Jedlicka finished with 9 kills and 10 digs.
Bre Walp did a little bit of everything on the afternoon, registering 9 kills, 7 blocks and 7 digs.
Madelyn St. Germain racked up 23 digs, while
Jessica Stancliff finished with a match-high 25 assists to go with 7 digs.

UTA hits the road to close out the 2019 regular season on Friday, Nov. 15 in San Marcos against West Division leader Texas State (21-8, 13-2 SBC). First serve for the contest is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
