Senior Day Highlights Final Home Weekend For @UTAMavsVB

ARLINGTON, Texas – Riding a 4-match winning streak, the UT Arlington volleyball squad is set to wrap up the home portion of the 2019 schedule this weekend. UTA will host Arkansas State on Friday, Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m., before facing the Trojans of Little Rock in the final regular season home match on Sunday, Nov. 10 at noon. Sunday will also serve as UTA's Senior Day and Madelyn St. Germain, Madison Hill, Madison Smith, Petra Manderson and Kylie Jedlicka will be honored during a ceremony prior to the match.

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | ARKANSAS STATE
- A-State has allowed the fewest service aces in the Sun Belt, just 85 through 90 sets played - 18 fewer than the No. 2 spot (Troy, 99). The Red Wolves give up less than one ace per set and are the only team in the league to average under an ace allowed per set.
 - Arkansas State is the only team in the conference with three players who hold 60 or more blocks on the year (Davenport [73], Stanford [70] & Terrell [63]).
- This season, the Red Wolves have 189.0 blocks and 2.10 blocks per set, the latter which ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference. A-State also ranks fourth in the league in solo blocks (66) and block assists (246).
 - The Red Wolves own the third-lowest hitting percentage defense in the Sun Belt Conference, holding foes to a .170 clip. That mark ranks inside the top 40 nationally (as of 11/7).

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | LITTLE ROCK
- The Trojans have won three of their last four matches.
- Little Rock is just 1-7 on the road this season.
- Carol Barbosa leads the Trojans with 254 kills. Janae Thurston (175) and Laura Jansen (171) are the only other Trojans with 100+ kills on the season.

UTA NOTES
- The Mavs are riding a four-match winning streak and are currently the hottest team in the Sun Belt.
- Brooke Townsend leads the UTA offense with 317 kills.
- Bre Walp leads the league in total blocks (99) and has 152 kills on the season.
- Madelyn St. Germain is second in the conference in digs with 433, but leads the SBC with 4.81 digs/set.
- UTA is outhitting the opposition .218-.182.
- The Mavericks are 3-6 at CPC this season.
